Empire Builder and other crayon rail games
In Empire Builder, players use crayons to draw rail lines along an eraseable map. They also move a pawn to represent their trains to various cities to pick up and deliver loads. Loads are guided by cards -- each has three options for delivering a commodity to a city for a payout. The game has been reprinted several times with new maps, ranging from Eurorails, Indian Rails and Russian Rails to fantasy scenarios such as Iron Dragon and Lunar Rails.
